Mi Ranchito Sporting Clays is owned and operated by J. Vasquez from Edinburg, Texas. Named for a song his father and grandfather loved to listen to, Mi Ranchito Ranch is located just 18 miles north of Edinburg on highway 281 on Old Fountain Road. The ranch itself is about 300 acres with native grasses and wildlife. Quail, white wing and ring neck dove thrive at Mi Ranchito allowing for a great bird hunting season. Ducks, a few deer, hogs, and maybe a coyote or two have also found their way into the ranch for a quick drink at the small watering hole; however due to the lack of cover the encounters are rare. A small pond offers our visitors a chance to catch and release a variety of fish which include largemouth bass, crappie, tilapia, redfish and the illusive blue gill. The ranch also sports a 5-stand range fully equipped with wireless MEC machines as well as an excellent walking course in and around the trees that provide much needed shade on those warmer days in South Texas. If you prefer, you can even opt to shoot under the lights so whatever your pleasure Mi Ranchito will enjoy serving your shooting needs.
